Through collaborative dialogue with Door County Thrive's leadership, we embarked on a creative journey to craft a logo and brand reflecting their diverse community and shared mission of empowerment. Established in 2017 by passionate volunteers, Door County Thrive aims to cultivate eco-literacy and foster community collaboration for the greater good. Our logo, symbolizing unity and growth, embodies this vision, offering versatility across various platforms while preserving its significance for official communications and documents.
In our initial discussions with the leadership of the Door County Thrive team they voiced the need for a logo and brand that does everything from connecting their many backgrounds of people to the growing pursuit of the organization. Door County Thrive was established in 2017 by a group of volunteers living and vacationing on the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin. Their mission is to empower each other by bringing the best of themselves into collaborations that will serve the greater good while building eco literacy through community action. Recognizing these aspects, we began a creative journey to cultivate an empowering logo and brand for Door County Thrive.
“Cultivating Community + Empowering Action”
Symbolism in Design
Door County Thrive was established to grow into a thriving network of thinkers and doers who can add to the vitality of their already abundant peninsula and home. The main icon of the logo was designed to reference this network of residents from all demographics and levels of knowledge. Below, the design elements in the main icon are broken down to help everyone understand the significance and symbolism.
Three Logo Versions
The distinctive icon within the Door County Thrive logo is versatile, suitable for a range of applications, from small-scale to large-scale projects. However, its usage is typically reserved for official purposes approved by the organization's communications team. You'll find this version utilized across various platforms, including social media, graphics, and promotional materials.
Members, affiliates, and associated organizations or groups are encouraged to utilize the ribbon or primary logo for their communications. Our communications team is readily available to provide the necessary files for seamless integration across diverse platforms and media.
Look for the full or secondary logo on official documents endorsed or sponsored by the organization. From letterheads to email signatures and website headers, this emblem serves as a symbol of our collective commitment to thriving communities.
